(corn)<\/strong>, on sleep quality in healthy adults experiencing difficulty falling or staying asleep.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The randomized, triple-blind, placebo-controlled study enrolled&nbsp;<strong>80 healthy participants<\/strong>&nbsp;and employed a gold-standard tool&nbsp;<strong>electroencephalogram (EEG)<\/strong>&nbsp;devices to assess sleep parameters. Conducted over a 28-day period, the study investigated the safety and efficacy of&nbsp;<strong>500 mg of Maizinol\u00ae<\/strong>, administered daily 60 minutes before bedtime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Key findings from the study include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Significant improvements in REM and non-REM sleep<\/strong>, which are critical for restorative sleep.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Reduction in sleep latency<\/strong>\u00a0(the time taken to fall asleep), resulting in quicker sleep onset.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Fewer nighttime awakenings<\/strong>\u00a0and shorter awake duration after sleep onset.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Increased total sleep time<\/strong>\u00a0and enhanced sleep efficiency.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Optimization of sleep structure<\/strong>\u00a0without disrupting natural circadian rhythms.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Erin D. Lewis, Scientific Director at KGK Science, emphasized the importance of the study, stating, \u201cConducting gold-standard clinical studies with objective tools like EEG to investigate sleep quality is critical to further our understanding of the complex interactions between natural health products and improvements in sleep.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Maizinol\u00ae is a naturally occurring compound structurally similar to melatonin and has shown a strong affinity for melatonin receptors, stimulating melatonin synthesis.
